Product Description

     Aluminum hydroxide, chemical formula Al(OH)3, is a white solid, insoluble in water, soluble in acid or alkali, and is a typical amphoteric hydroxide. After it is heated and dehydrated in the air, it can be converted into alumina, which is of great significance to alumina production. Aluminum hydroxide can react with acids to form salts and water and can react with strong bases to form Chemicalbook salts and water, so it is an amphoteric hydroxide. Application:
 

      Aluminum hydroxide is a widely used chemical product. Industrial grade aluminum hydroxide is mainly used as filler for plastics and polymers, flame retardant and adhesive for carpet making, filler for epoxy resin, and color filler for paper making. and coatings, production of aluminum sulfate, alum, aluminum fluoride, sodium aluminate, synthetic molecular sieves, production of toothpaste fillers, glass ingredients, its gel liquid and Chemicalbook dry gel. Pharmaceutical grade aluminum hydroxide is mainly used as an antacid, which can neutralize gastric acid and protect the ulcer surface. It can relieve symptoms such as acid reflux caused by excessive gastric acid. It is suitable for gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and reflux disease. Treatment of esophagitis and upper gastrointestinal bleeding. When combined with calcium and vitamin D, it can treat neonatal hypocalcemia (tetany).
