Product Description

Emulsified asphalt is a kind of oil-in-water (O/W) asphalt emulsion, which is dispersed in microdroplet state in water containing emulsifier and stabilizer by thermal melting and mechanical action. Emulsified asphalt is a kind of road building material that diffuses the road asphalt usually used at high temperature into water by means of mechanical mixing and chemical stabilization (emulsification) and liquefied into water at normal temperature with very low viscosity and good fluidity. Can be used at room temperature, can also be used with cold, wet stone.
A. Introduction

The product is made of surfactant, cation shale inhibitor and asphalt with certain range of softening point. It is manufactured with special technical process. The micron grade asphalt particulates with positive electricity tend to be adsorbed on solid grain with negative electricity. It helps the formation of slurry cake, improves slurry mud quality. I is possible that its micron grade cation shale inhibitor enters into well wall micro-joint, creating cohesion and mutual gathering, playing the role of blocking, bridging, expansion, swell, collapse control, water loss reduction and protection of oil-gas reservoir.

C. Scope of Application
The product is used in oil-gas development from all types of wells where water-based drilling fluid system is adopted, however, it is not used for well exploration.

D. Usage and Dosage
The product may be directly put into circulated slurry. The recommended concentration is 1.0% - 2.0% in slurry for first time of use.

Instructions for Use:
 (1) The best practice is to add the product directly into weighting pump or slurry tank, but not into ground pit. It is extracted by gear pump or submersible pump, failing to do so, the pump will be clogged.
 (2) After long time storage, 10mm thick scale may form on upper part of packing barrel, which is normal. The product may be mixed even by rolling the barrel or mixing.
E. Packaging, Storage and Transportation
It is packed in polyethylene plastic barrel with net weight of 50kg. It is also packed in steel barrel with net weight of 200kg.
Store the products in cool, dry and well ventilated place. Warranty: 2 year.
